Surf Sessions

Aspen is "Mountain Town", and we love it.   But it's always good to mix it up a little. Our quest for user generated content took us all the way to Byron Bay, Australia (via cyber) where Craig Parry surfs, shoots pix and lives the dream, Aussie style.  Here's a couple of his "good ones".  Right on, Mate.  Click the wave to enlarge.

Summer of Love

The FRO has been getting on my case.

"What the f*#k are you doing ?" he screamed so loudly that I dropped my new 3G I-Phone.  "Where are the m.f. ing pix of the sexy ASPEN GIRLS" he shouted. "You've lost the edge, dude!!!"  The FRO wouldn't let up, on and on and on he continued his rant. "Parade pix and G.D. hikes to the lake don't sell $18 million houses"----I could hear his fat-a$$ fist slam the desk just before the line went dead.

I guess it was a bad time to tell him what I was up to.   I booked out of Aspen for the summer...  and that user generated content is Web 2.0...and that my stint in ski-hab is taking place in San Francisco...and I'm here trying  to "tech up".  Oh yeah, and if you aren't  networking via the web---you're "an antique".  I figured he might blow a lung, ...so for once ...I kept my mouth shut.

The cat's out of the bag.  AspenSpin.com is not taking the pix this summer.   I'll be back by labor day to continue my domination of "old media" in Aspen.
