The snow was so deep on one of the Pow mornings, that Brook a local Sled Head was cruising around town ferrying skiers to the mountain----on his snowmobile.

Men's Health bringin' the love.
Men's Health magazine was a major sponsor of WinterSkol 2008. They built a hospitality tent at the base of Ajax to pass out loads and loads of swag.
Shown here in the control center are some of the key marketing execs. The gift bags were filled with awesome stuff from Halls, Armani, Redken and of course ----BUD LIGHT---the official beer of Aspen Spin.

Buckaroo's and Brownies
Friday is Brownie day on Ajax---thanks to moutani hostess and super-star baker, Kim Wille (right). A few of the Buckaroo's lined up for yogurt brownies-----mmmmm mmmm good. Dadoo, Kyle and Tommy O got a full days worth of calories in one bite.

Self proclaimed workaholic Bill Davis and his alluring bride Deb made it to Aspen for a "no work" WinterSkol weekend. Bill is CEO of The Learning Care Group and a board member of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (the official coffee of Aspen/ Snowmass and Aspen Spin). Deb supervises the couples' five super-luxury homes and their fleet of pleasure craft. Bill, however, has only visited 2 of the homes so far----, and he did so-----in between meetings.

Former titans of Wall Street ---Rick Schwartz and Mark Leydecker joined up with real estate King Pin-- Jonathan Feinberg to support The Buddy Program during the Rufus Wainwright show at Belly Up.
Yes it's well known that Rufus has a primarily gay fan base---but these 3 macho dudes were comfortable enough with their masculinity to show their love for each other---all night long.

Rufus Wainwright, a star in his own right, is the son of legendary singer/song-writer Loudon Wainwright. Rufus charmed the SRO crowd with his talent.
He joked as he took the stage "I can feel the love, even though it's not Gay Ski Week yet". don't kid yourself guys-----the ladies were swooning over Rufus.

Talent Show
He writes the love songs and then he performs them with heart and soul. Rufus Wainwright put on a tremendous show, and help raise money on behalf of The Buddy Program.

Ice Time
The couple that skates together, stays together. Hockey playing partnership, Drew Spaldrin and Wendy Winkleman enjoyed the Soup Skol event during WinterSkol. Drew runs Ruby Red Salmon, the highest quality fish supplier in town, and his lovely bride Wendy is a top trainer at The Aspen Club.

Soup is good for the SKOL
Lori Dresner (L) recently relocated to Aspen from Paris. She joins her friends, long-time locals Ron and Deborah Rader at the rowdy soup skol competition. Ron Rader is still glowing from his recent victory at a triathalon in Buenos Aries.

Blue Amaizeing
Richard and Nelson from Blue Maize served up a fiery Jalapeno Bisque at Soup Skol 2008. Alas, just like the Maize and Blue hoops squad, the Blue Maize restaurant did not calim victory at the Soup Skol competition.

Johnny's almost won.
Always a threat to win Soup Skol, the team from Johnny McGuire's ladled out their famous Cheeseburger Soup from the hood of an old VW.. Rory, Jero, and Sam fired up the bug, but could not take home the trophy this year. For the second straight year, GARNISH, from the Aspen Club took home first prize.

The Wiviott Boyz were Kung Fu fightin' at Soup Skol. Leo, Adam, Simon and Jacob are students, thespians and shredders----and they like soup.

Dr. David Newman, Deb Davis and Dr. Neal "the real deal" Mozen hung out at Matuhisa trying to score some yellow tail. Mozen kept shouting ---"put it on Aspen Spin's tab". Unfortunately, they did.

Dr. Neal Mozen, made his presence known at Matsuhisa. He jumped from table to table--- scavenging sushi and sashimi from everyone. He's shown here glomming onto beautiful first-year law student Allison, and her buds the dazzling Kate Linehan and real estate exec. Ryan Johnson. Mozen managed to keep smiling despite the separation anxiety he experienced due to being apart from his scrumptious wife Sandy and his beautiful daughter Haley.

Men's Health at Little Nell
Men's Health capped off a great WinterSkol weekend by hosting an extremely deluxe cocktail party at The Little Nell. Enjoying the fireworks and the martinis were Eric and M.J. from Clearwater, Fla. and their fetching friend, the local consultant, known simply as Genevieve.

Tatiana Parsada, Paul Georgrieff and Jessica Lovett sexily watched the fireworks from The Little Nell at the Men's Health Party. Paul took the night off from training, he's an Ultimate Fighter on Spike TV.

The Spazmatics
80's tribute band The Spazmatics came in from L.A. to play the Belly Up ---sponsored by Men's Health Magazine. The show was "out of control"---in a good way.
The Spazmatics opened for Danger Kitty last Halloween, and came back for WinterSkol under their own headline. Something has changed with this band since October---can you tell what it is from these pix?
