Legends Unite!!

Ski pioneer Klaus Obermeyer flanked by his loyalists from Stephan Kaelin, John Fray, a.k.a Johnny Aspen (L),  Jan and Ilke.  All were attending the kickoff party for the FIS World Cup at the super-posh St. Regis Hotel.  The Banner in the background is the original starting banner from the 1950 FIS races in Aspen.

Klaus can yodel

Klaus Obermeyer, a ski fashion icon, lets rip with one of his patented yodels to welcome the World Cup to Aspen.   Klaus has left a huge imprint on the ski industry.  some of his many  innovations include the down parka, high altitude sun screen and mirrored sun-glasses.
