Aspen After Hours

The Aspen Chamber Resort Association(ACRA) hosted a business "after hours" networking event at the new Jean Robert's Gym in Aspen. 

The ladies and gentleman (singular) of ACRA took networking to a new level at the decked out top floor workout facility.  Il Mulino attracted an A-List crowd with their "live" pasta presentation coupled with wine and beer.  Jean-Robert Barbette's  new remodeled space along with JR's Gym (the former Aspen Athletic Club) impressed Aspen's biz crowd.Catherine, Sally and Sarah netwokring in Aspen.

Aspen Retail Detail

The retail shops in Aspen are still thriving....sort of.

Aspen's Mike Marolt packed the hous at Ute Mountaineer in Aspen.Ute Mountaineer,perhaps the best gear shop in America, is still killing it.  Every 3rd Tuesday Ute Mountaineer sponsors its speaker series.  Last night, local mountaineering legend Michael Marolt showed a cut of his film HIGH TURNS -ASPEN to EVEREST to a packed house at Ute.  Marolt , his twin bro Steve and their pack of high altitude friends have scaled and skied all the biggest mountains ---including Everest.  January 19th the next UTE speaker, Chris Davenport should have some interesting tales to tell upon his return from Antarctica.

Ute has also teamed up with CLOUDVEIL.  Buy any Cloudveil gear  @ the UTE (except hats) before Christmas and be entered to win a big-daddy ski trip to Jackson Hole--all expenses paid. 

Louis Vuitton  caused a stir in Aspen with their new lighted window display (shown below).  There was a perceived code violation and corresponding complaints.  After a massive review, it was determined that LV was in compliance.  What a relief. Louis Vuitton in Aspen.
